Home Again, home again!

Back to the cold country!! Last week we returned to Pocatello, just in the nick of time!! It was 90 the day we left, which was plenty warm for us!! Back to life, back to reality!! It snowed up in the hills Sunday!! Crazy life, I think!!

The top picture is of us with some friends in Ridgecrest. They took us to an old gold mine, the mine goes completely through the mountain!! A half mile!! It really got dark in there!! Avery did really well, and Sunny really enjoyed how cool it was inside the tunnel.

Easter Sunday Avery got to look for Easter eggs in the back yard of some other friends in Ridgecrest. She really enjoyed that and got the hang of looking for the eggs all by herself!! She found every last one of them!!

The last pic is Avery in her Easter Sunday dress and her "pretty" shoes she put on all by herself!! Note: on the wrong feet of course!!

Hiking With Daddy!!

Once she got into the Kelty, she was fine. In and Out, however, was a whole other story!! We hiked for 2 hours and not 1 complaint!! What a trooper we have. Tyler was beginning to feel the strain of her 27 pound person by the end of the trek.

Hangin' out

Today has been a nice day. We got up early and took a hike up Walker Pass. Avery wasn't sure about the Kelty Pack, but once she got into it, she warmed up quite a bit. It has been a little while since we stuck her in it. When I get a little more time, I will be posting some pics of the past couple of weeks. See ya then!!!

Matching Girls!!

It's already hot out!! We got settled in our trailer space on Saturday evening. Sunday we went to meeting at the Hansen's home, here in Ridgecrest. Then we spent a lazy afternoon at the trailer, and then headed to Tim and Nancy Taylor's home where they fed us homemade pizza and we enjoyed their gazebo outside. It was a nice beginning to this stay here in California.

When we got back to the trailer, Tyler made Avery and I pose as we matched in our brown skirts and our pink shirts!!

The Andersons

This is Mike, Amanda, Dane, and Nora Anderson from Henderson, Nevade....we enjoyed a nice lunch with them on our way to California.

Having Fun with Dane

We stopped in Las Vegas briefly for lunch and met a young family that were a young couple in Pocatello once upon a time...now they have two children, and the oldest, Dane, and Avery enjoyed lunch to the max in the curtains of the restaurant!!

Hinderager's Visit

We were so afraid that the call to Cali would come a week too soon...and it almost did!! The call came Wednesday morning telling us to leave Friday, so we were able to see Marc, Louise, Janae, and Kara Hinderage, briefly, on their visit to the states from Australia. They are visiting as a whole family for the first time since they left in '04 before any of us here had met Kara. It was a nice time to meet her and visit, and the girls got along famously. They really enjoyed Sunny as well!
